THE 2004
B.O.R.E.D. TOUR COMEDY MUSIC
FESTIVAL
The world?s
premiere comedy music festival is gearing up for it?s
biggest event yet! This year The
B.O.R.E.D. Tour will set sail on
the
high seas of musical hilarity as the show invades the Laugh
Is Hope Comedy Club on board The
Queen Mary in Long Beach
Harbor.
This
year the largest and longest running comedy music festival
in the world will include the first
solo performance in 15 years
by
comedy music genius, Steven Banks. Steven, currently the
Co-Producer of Nickelodeon?s
Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius and
the
author of the New York Times Best Seller SpongeBob?s Big
Halloween Scare, is also the creator
of the Showtime Special
Steven Banks
Home Entertainment Center and the PBS series The
Steven Banks Show. The B.O.R.E.D.
Tour is honored to have
Steven Banks
as this year?s headlining
act.
Other acts will include Dr.
Demento Radio favorites, Throwing
Toasters, Raymond & Scum and Hot
Waffles. Mary Mack, making
her
B.O.R.E.D. Tour debut, will be carrying on the long standing
tradition of including the ladies of
funny music in the show as
well.
This
year will also continue the tradition of including a special
Mystery Act. The name of the act will
be a well guarded secret
until the
moment the act hits the stage. ?I can?t tell you who the
act is,? says event organizer
Grant Baciocco, ?But it?s safe to say
this is someone who is a HUGE chart
topper in the world of
comedy
music.?
Baciocco says,
?There is no other event like this in the world! We
were the first and we are the BEST
event to see comedy music
live,
that?s why we sell out every year!? The show has even
attracted comedy legends as audience
members! Dr. Demento,
legendary
comedy music DJ and The Simpsons creator, Matt
Groening have both attended
B.O.R.E.D. Tour shows in the past.
Groening later commented, ?It was the best night out I?d had in
L.A. for some
time.?
Tickets for the
show can be purchased by calling (562)
499
-8611 or by visiting The Laugh Is
Hope Website
(http://
www.laughishope.com). Tickets
are $20 each. There is a ?Two
For One? deal for those
bringing a friend. Both can get in for the
price of one! This event, like events
in years past, will sell out so
fans
are encouraged to get their tickets
early.
