WASHINGTON D.C.

Okay…I DID D.C.!

I got to Washing D.C. at about 3
O’Clock and I did…

History

The National Archive (home of the
Constitution & The Declaration Of
Independence)

Air & Space
Museum

The Brand New Native American
Museum

The Capitol
Building

Grant’s Monument (Oh,
yeah!)

The a LONG walk down Pennsylvania
Avenue (which takes you past the Dept, Of Justice & the F.B.I. building
among others)

The White

Constitution
Park

Vietnam
Memorial

The Lincoln
Memorial

The Korean War
Memorial

and I saw the Washington Monument
(it’s currently closed)

Then I went
home at 7PM. So I did ALL that in 4
hours!

I went home and SLEPT! But it
was a great day off! Here’s some
pictures…

The Rotunda Where the Constitution and
Declaration Of Independence are.

The Declaration. Really, that’s it. Where
did they get the big paper?

Me and the first page of the
Constitution.

The Wright Brother’s

The Native American

Memorial

Can you tell I was getting more and
more tired as I charged across Washington D.C.? :-) It was TOTALLY worth it
though.

If you’ve never been, you have
to go. It really is a very cool place. You really do need days to see
everything in all the museums, but to get to see the few things I did was really
amazing. The rotunda at the National Archives is fantastic. I also got to see
the Star Spangled Banner, but no photos were allowed.
